At CrossFit Vacaville, we meet our members’ nutritional needs by offering three levels of coaching.

1. Providing Tracking tools and resources, followed by nutritional check-in by coaches.
2. Nutritional Challenges. Offered throughout the year provides members a fun, structured format with accountability to follow meal plans and workouts.
3. Individual Nutrition Coaching led by Marcia Gensheimer. With a unique blend of credentials, she provides nutrition coaching with individual attention similar to personal training.

This fee-based program has proven success based upon listening to members personal needs, health status and fitness goals.

Customized meal plans are created based upon body fat composition, along with factors such as work/home schedule, family obligations, food preferences/intolerances, medications and co-morbidities.

Meal Plans and Supplements
CrossFit Vacaville encourages members to follow healthy meal plans, with physician approval. Through research, testimonials and results from nutrition challenges and individual nutrition coaching, our members have reached fitness goals using meal plans of:

 

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat.” –CrossFit founder Greg Glassman.

In other words:
“Don’t eat crap” and “you can not out train a poor diet”

At CrossFit Vacaville, we offer a variety of supplements based upon science-based evidence to enhance performance and well-being.

These include high quality protein supplements to meet the needs of those requiring additional protein in their daily diet, increasing strength and muscle mass, and recovery.
